Gabriela Semeghini is partner of Granda Advogados since 2008 focusing her practice in Tax and Social Security Taxes Consulting and Litigation, Corporations Law and Foreign Capital.

With more than 10 years of professional experience, Ms. Semeghini initiated her career at SEBRAE rendering advisory for start-up companies on the issues related to their establishment.

Subsequently, Ms. Semeghini concentrated her practice in tax consulting and litigation, acting for important companies from pharmaceutics and shopping center sectors, as well as for manufacturers from different industries.

Gabriela Semeghini acted in judicial and administrative discussions related to relevant tax matters, additionally, she also actively participated in the development of a software dedicated to the calculation of the following social contributions under the non-cumulative regime: Program for Social Integration Contribution – PIS and Contribution for the Financing of Social Security - COFINS.

Heading for new challenges, Ms. Semeghini accepted in 2008 the invitation to become a Partner in Granda Law Firm, where she was granted the opportunity to develop relevant projects related to tax consulting and tax planning, applying her backgrounds from accounting, corporations law and tax law towards tax and social contribution taxes restructuring programs, legal assessments for using tax credits and addressing tax liabilities, legal auditing for reimbursement of undue paid taxes, and preparation of legal opinion on broad range of subjects related to taxation.

Gabriela Semeghini also contributed to the development of practice areas related to corporate law and foreign capital, rendering legal assistance and advice for the proper treatment of capital flows related to foreign investment in Brazilian companies and Brazilian investments abroad.
